Burley Manor Hotel
Burley Manor Hotel
Ringwood Road, BH24 4BS Burley

The Burley Manor Hotel is the jewel in the crown of the New Forest. Located in the picturesque village of Burley, in the New Forest.

Part of the Forestdale Hotel Group, Burley Manor Hotel is located in the beautiful New Forest. Throughout its long history, the hotel has enjoyed many regal connections. Parts of the estate were probably laid out in Saxon times and must have existed before the Doomsday Book was compiled in 1086. Later, for nearly 200 years, Burley was a Royal Manor. The current building was erected in 1852, but it was a further 80 years before the house became a hotel, when a restaurant and bedroom wing were added. During World War Two, the hotel was requisitioned and used as a military headquarters by Lord Montgomery and his chiefs of staff. Over the past 25 years the baronial-style hotel has been continually upgraded and refurbished, the most recent additions being a brand new wing of luxurious premier rooms and a conservatory extension to the restaurant. Burley has 38 spacious and elegant en-suite bedrooms, including some with four-poster beds.

The Hotel has self-contained meeting facilities, the largest seating up to a maximum of 60 delegates. Nearby Attractions: Sightseeing/Tours, Shopping, Night club, Horseback riding, Hiking, Swimming pool, Museums, Gardens and Parks, Water Amusement Park, Ocean Aquarium, Zoo, Owl Sanctuary.
